Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, healthcare or related field. 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance can substitute for formal education.
- 5 years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios
- 5 years building test cases and scenarios into test systems
- 3 years deep knowledge of healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid), business processes
- 3 years direct hands-on experience with formal test design tools; proficient in use of manual or automated testing tools such as Azure DevOps or Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
Preferred Skills:
- Technical and/or Project Management certifications from recognized sources
- 5+ years of large enterprise or e-business systems experience.
- 3+ years of prior experience working in a standard SDLC (waterfall methodology) & in AGILE delivery
- Healthcare operations specifically Medicaid experience
Soft Skills & Abilities:
- QA planning, test strategy, and test execution
- Analysis of Business and policy requirements
- Test case and test scenario development
- Manual and automated testing
- UI, regression, usability, negative, and reliability testing
- SDLC traceability (requirements to test cases)
- Defect tracking, triage, retesting, and resolution
- Azure DevOps, Atlassian JIRA, Confluence
- QA documentation, reporting, and governance compliance
