Desktop Support Technician
Contract - Onsite (955 Park Street, Columbia, SC 29201)

Required:
  • 4+ years of experience in desktop and networked systems support
  • 2+ years of experience in computer deployments, operation, and repair
  • 2+ years of experience in hardware and software installation
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Edge Browser, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Expertise in supporting Microsoft Windows
  • Requires the exertion of 50 pounds of force occasionally.
  • Requires the exertion of 20 pounds of force frequently.
  • High School diploma.
  • Associate or a bachelor’s degree in a related field.  May be substituted for required work experience. 
Preferred Skills                                        
  • Experience working with a help desk ticketing system
  • Experience with NTS Network
  • Experience with Active Directory or InTune 
Specific Skills:
  • Desktop/laptop/tablet imaging using MECM
  • BitLocker configuration & key verification in AD/InTune
  • Microsoft Windows & Office Suite support
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, scanners
  • Ticket logging & resolution through help desk system
  • Asset documentation according to SCDOT procedures
  • Basic knowledge of network-connected devices and NTS Network
