Need South Carolina Residents Only - Contract - Columbia, SC (Onsite)
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and general Microsoft administration
- 5+ years of experience managing and supporting Windows Server environments
- 10+ years of strong troubleshooting experience in networking (wired and wireless)
- 5+ years of experience responding to help desk requests via a ticketing system
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Deskpro or similar ticketing systems
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
- Knowledge of Ruckus/Brocade network switches and general network infrastructure
Specific Skills:
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) configuration and management
- Windows Server installation, patching, and performance tuning
- Network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VLAN, DHCP, DNS)
- User account management, permissions, and access controls
- System and network monitoring, incident response, and escalation handling
- Documentation of technical processes, network diagrams, and system configurations
- Collaboration with IT teams to implement infrastructure upgrades and security best practices
- Familiarity with ITSM tools, help desk operations, and customer support workflows
