Senior Business Analyst – Business Systems Reengineering, Data Analysis & Process Optimization
Austin, Texas (Hybrid)
Required Skills:
- 8+ years reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs.
- 8+ years thorough understanding of business analysis areas of knowledge and associated tasks.
- 8+ years participating in software development reviews and providing analytical support to design and testing teams.
- 8+ years performing or participating in unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- 8+ years planning and organizing work to meet goals and manage multiple assignments effectively.
- 8+ years thorough knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- 8+ years strong verbal and written communication skills with both IT and business stakeholders.
- Formulating systems to parallel overall business strategies.
- Business process reengineering and applying technology to improve business effectiveness.
- Familiarity with standard process mapping and reengineering practices.
- Preparing solution options, risk analysis, and financial evaluations (ROI, cost/benefit, buy/build).
- Documenting user needs, program functions, and steps to develop or modify systems.
- 8+ years managing complex tasks independently with judgment, creativity, and latitude.
- 5+ years serving as a liaison between business and IT teams (Architecture, Project Delivery, Application Sustain).
- Strong experience as a Data Analyst and Business Analyst in requirements gathering and technical understanding.
- Project management experience; PMP certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- 8+ years of Experience with case management system implementations.
- 8+ yaers of Experience with Jira project management software.
