Senior SQL Server Database Administrator – Healthcare IT & IV&V Technical Consultant
Columbia, South Carolina - Remote
Required Skills:
- 7+ years’ experience as a SQL DBA
- 5+ years’ experience with SQL Server
- 5+ years’ experience with High Availability/Disaster Recover (HA/DR)
- 3+ years’ experience with TSQL
- 3+ years’ experience with PowerShell scripting
- 7+ years’ experience with performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security
- Proven DBA experience in supporting enterprise applications in Linux/Windows.
- Understanding of database scalability and operations.
- Strong communication (oral/written) and teamwork.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in data encryption and traffic encryption.
- Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) experience
- Understanding of Oracle Enterprise Manager
- Healthcare industry experience and/or experience managing PHI/PII data
- Vendor management experience
- Medicaid operations experience
- Public sector experience is a plus

- MS SQL Server 2016 / 2019 Enterprise
- High Availability / Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) Solutions
- T-SQL Development & Optimization
- PowerShell Scripting & Automation
