Required Skills:
- High School diploma (minimum education requirement)
- 1+ year experience supporting web applications
- 1+ year experience supporting databases (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL)
- 1+ year experience with Nmap tool
- 1+ year experience with Wireshark
- 2+ years of experience with vulnerability scanning
- Ability to clearly communicate technical and vulnerability information to non-technical personnel
- Working knowledge of web applications and enterprise systems
- Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, and MySQL
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and tools (Nmap, Wireshark, vulnerability scanning)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience performing searching in SIEM
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
- Experience with NIST 800-53 compliance framework
- Security+ Certification
Specific Skills:
- Vulnerability Scanning & Remediation
- Web Applications Support (1+ year)
- Database Security: Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL (1+ year)
- Network Security Tools: Nmap, Wireshark (1+ year each)
- Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) Deployment/Management
- SIEM Monitoring & Alert Creation
- Firewall Security (Request Review & Management)
- Incident Response & Investigation Support
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53 (Preferred)
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls (Preferred)
